These over-dimensioned 3-roll bending rolls deliver forces up to 3000 tons and are engineered to bend plates exceeding 20 meters in width, combining the productivity of a bending roll with the versatility of a press brake. The oversized structure ensures rigidity and precision when bending high-strength plates. Two hydraulic cylinders on the uprights guarantee high tonnage and allow production of conical and asymmetrical parts typical of ship hull structures. Rolls operate independently: in rolling mode the top roll moves vertically and the lower rolls horizontally; in press mode the upper roll is replaced with a tool and a die is mounted on the lower rolls. Continuous multi-axis control and an integrated anti-deflection system ensure high tolerances, consistent quality, and bending of both large and small radii without reducing maximum thickness.
